GUIDE 14 · SEO FUNDAMENTALS AT SCALE

How to compare SEO and GEO performance by page type

Scores by page type show which templates are weak, so you can fix the template once instead of thousands of pages.

In REVVDA: Explore → Page Types

Why it matters

  • ●A catalog is a handful of templates repeated thousands of times.
  • ●Collection pages often score far lower on GEO than product pages, and they're the pages buyers land on from broad questions.
  • ●Comparing SEO and GEO side by side shows pages that rank on Google but that AI can't use.

How to do it in REVVDA

  1. 01

    Open the table.

Go to Explore. Scores by page type shows, for each type, the number of pages, the SEO score and its parts (Tech, Struct, Quality), and the GEO score, color-coded from under 40 to 75 and above.

  2. 02

    Find the weakest template.

Look for page types with many pages and a low score, typically product listings (collections) on GEO.

  3. 03

    Drill into pages.

Open Pages to see individual pages with their SEO score, GEO score and open issues. Click a page to see its issues and the fixes for it.

  4. 04

    Act on the template.

Fixes that apply to a whole page type, such as Rewrite collection intros as short, quotable facts, appear in Fix and Plan.

  5. 05

    Check what's excluded.

Excluded URLs lists pages left out of scores, such as internal search results, so they don't distort the averages.

Doing it without REVVDA

Classify every URL by template in a crawler export, average your SEO metrics by type, and score a sample of each type for AI readiness by hand: facts, structured data, quotable sentences.

What you get

A clear view of which templates hold your scores back, and the template-level fixes that lift them.
